modern hotel

The whole story is in the details

Interior

A hotel of the 21st century needs the latest technologies for maximum guest comfort, energy savings, social and environmental responsibility in all life processes of the facility.

The goal of the team of architects and designers was to combine modernity with  the heritage of the past, and to rethink it in a new way.

Before the reconstruction, the object was in a state of complete destruction. Before the reconstruction, the object was in a state of complete destruction. Of the authentic elements of the interior, the Soviet authorities left for posterity only the wrought-iron stair railing with mallows from 1914, covered with multi-year layers of paint of different colors. During the restoration of the railings, we discovered that first of all, each mallow was covered with gold. They were different, unique, created and fixed by hand. The restoration of the forged elements and gilding was carried out by the local goldsmith Peter Gluhyi.

Design

Inspired by the influence of the Art Deco era of old Stanislaviv, we emphasized the connection of the hotel with the surrounding urban landscape with the help of panoramic windows, which give a feeling of unity between the outside and the inside, maximum openness and transparency. On the first floor, there is a hotel reception, a cozy lobby bar and a peace gallery, which will become a venue for important cultural events.

The reception, lobby bar, elevator portals, and hotel stairs are lined by local craftsmen of Italian marble and rare Brazilian granite.

The old facade medallions have been preserved, the clock tower lost due to the fire has been rebuilt, which now serves as a panoramic terrace with a SKY Bar, where you can admire the beautiful view of the city, try light snacks and fragrant coffee.

The mysterious medallions of the architect Frederik Janusz, which are historically located between the 2nd and 3rd floors on the facade of the hotel,  became the impetus   for the creation of an artistic stucco in the hotel lobby.

Gallery of the Interior

The hall is decorated with dandelion chandeliers, exclusively created by masters from Kharkiv. . It is an interesting fact that the works took place during the massive shelling of the city during the full-scale war with Russia. Even a projectile hitting one of the workshops of the lamp factory did not diminish the desire to work for the sake of strengthening the state’s economy and the victory of Ukraine.
